Easy Cloud Dough for New Year’s

This recipe for cloud dough only has 3 ingredients!

Often times, homemade play dough requires a stove top or a small shopping list of ingredients.

This clay dough is different.

It only requires three ingredients and since there is no heat used in the process – it is 100% safe for your little one to mix up alongside you.

We made this batch for our New Year’s celebration by adding some golden glitter. However, this cloud dough can be made for any play session and the recipe is easily tweaked.

Here’s how we made this fantastic, glittery, fluffy dough.

Supplies:

  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup hair conditioner
  • 1 tablespoon bio-degradable glitter

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch and conditioner. Stir until well combined.
  2. Add biodegradable glitter to the dough mixture.
  3. Use your hands to knead in the glitter and ensure that the dough has a uniform consistency.
  4. Play! When dough is not in use, store in an air-tight container.
