So much learning is taking place with this space name craft! In this little craftivity, kids are . . .
- developing name recognition
- progressing their letter formation abilities
- building hand-eye coordination
- developing the dexterity of their hands (an important component of handwriting!)
This project can easily be adapted for toddler children. If you are doing these space shuttle names with especially young kids, I recommend writing the letters of their name for them and cutting out the components of the shuttle. Then your child can focus on the task of arranging the letters of their name and gluing everything in place.
This is how we made this out-of-this-world space name craft.
