Rabbit Sticky Wall _ Toddler Adding Petals _ Abbie Ulstad _ GGH

Celebrate spring with this beautiful rabbit sticky wall for kids!

This rabbit sticky wall activity for kids is a fantastic way to celebrate the magic of spring.

One of the best parts? The petals can be arranged again and again to create again and again.

Process-based art activities – like this rabbit sticky wall – helps children to develop independence and confidence. It provides the opportunity to explore natural textures. It also aids the development of critical thinking skills and inquiry.

Here’s how we set up this amazing activity.

Supplies:

  • Petals (real or faux)
  • Scissors
  • Clear contact paper
  • Masking tape or painter’s tape
  • Permanent marker

Directions:

  1. Collect petals (real or faux) and set in a dish.
  2. Use your scissors to cut a length of contact paper.
  3. Peel the contact paper to expose one small corner of the sticky paper. Use masking tape or painter’s tape to tape that corner to a wall or a window, sticky-side facing out.
  4. Peel the remaining backing of the contact paper to uncover the sticky part, taping down the other corners as you go.
  5. Use permanent marker to draw the outline of a rabbit or rabbit’s head.
  6. Allow your child the time and space to arrange petals onto the sticky wall, experimenting with arrangement and layering.
