These ornaments are an easy craft for kids that showcase the beauty of nature. Hang them from a tree or in front of your frosty windows.
No matter where you display them, these ornaments will bring an extra bit of beauty to your space.
Here’s how we made this gorgeous craft.
Supplies:
- Nature ornament templates printed onto heavy paper or cardstock (download for free here)
- Scissors
- Clear contact paper
- Pen or permanent marker
- Botanical findings from nature (leaves, seeds, petals)
- Washable glue
- String
- Hole punch
Directions:
- Use your scissors to cut out the nature ornament templates.
- Trace a circle template onto the contact paper to create two circles. Cut the circles out with scissors.
- Stick one of the contact paper circles onto one of the paper templates.
- Arrange your botanical findings on the sticky side of the contact paper.
- Seal in your design by adhering the second contact paper circle.
- Glue the second paper ring on top of your wand to complete your creation.
- Punch a hole into the ornament and thread a length of string through the hole. Hang your ornament wherever you would like!
