Kindness Paper Chain

Kindness Paper Chain Being Held by Abbie Ulstad

An easy craft for kids that encourages kindness and community + a free printable challenge worksheet!

Paper chains have been a favorite around here lately. We have been trying to find ways to use them outside of the classic count-down.

Here’s our latest twist on the craft: The Kindness Paper Chain.

Supplies:

Directions:

  1. Use your scissors to cut your colored paper into 30 strips.
I recommend making each strip about an inch wide.
  2. Use your marker to write an act of kindness from the 30 Days of Kindness Challenge sheet onto each strip of paper.
  3. Tape the ends of one of your slips (with the written words facing out) together to form a loop.
  4. Interlock the next slip of paper with the loop you have made and then tape its ends. Continue doing this until you have created a chain.
  5. Every day, remove a link from your chain and complete the task written on it.
