An easy craft for kids that encourages kindness and community + a free printable challenge worksheet!
Paper chains have been a favorite around here lately. We have been trying to find ways to use them outside of the classic count-down.
Here’s our latest twist on the craft: The Kindness Paper Chain.
Supplies:
- Colored paper
- Scissors
- Tape
- A dark-colored marker
- 30 Days of Kindness Challenge sheet
Directions:
- Use your scissors to cut your colored paper into 30 strips.
I recommend making each strip about an inch wide. - Use your marker to write an act of kindness from the 30 Days of Kindness Challenge sheet onto each strip of paper.
- Tape the ends of one of your slips (with the written words facing out) together to form a loop.
- Interlock the next slip of paper with the loop you have made and then tape its ends. Continue doing this until you have created a chain.
- Every day, remove a link from your chain and complete the task written on it.
