Celebrate July Fourth with this free printable activity for kids!

Sometimes you have the bandwidth to do a great big arts and crafts activity with your kids.

Sometimes you only have the bandwidth to print off a worksheet for your babes so you can take a moment to enjoy a cup of coffee.

This activity for kids is not only a great way to celebrate July Fourth, but a way to also celebrate the little things that make life so great.

It’s a practice in gratitude – an important practice at any age.

Here’s how we did this July Fourth activity at home.

Supplies:

Directions:

  1. Print off a copy of the July Fourth worksheet.
  2. Use crayon, colored pencil, or marker to write or draw pictures things worthy of celebration in each of the stars. Remember, both words and images can be used to communicate ideas!
  3. Use your art supplies to add color and interest to your worksheet.

For younger artists, it can be helpful to either use dictation to fill in the stars or provide them with a word bank.
