Flower Bouquet Cards

Flower Bouquet Card _ Completed Card Being Held _ Abbie Ulstad _ GGH

I don’t know what it is, but there is just something about hand print crafts. Just seeing my child’s hand in their teeny tiny size is so sweet. And I feel like that sweetness is doubled in these flower bouquet cards.

All you need for this project is cardstock, scissors, glue, and dried flowers.

Don’t have dried flowers or leaves? No worries! Substitute in paper flowers, fabric flowers, or stickers instead!

Here’s how we made these sweet flower bouquet cards.

Supplies:

  • 2 sheets of cardstock, in differing colors
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Dried flowers or leaves

Directions:

  1. Use a pencil to trace the outline of your child’s hand and wrist onto one of the pieces of cardstock.
  2. Use scissors to carefully cut out this outline.
  3. Fold your other sheet of paper in half the hamburger way to create a card.
  4. Bend the fingertips of the traced hand toward the palm. Then glue the hand onto the front of your card.
  5. Glue dried flowers and plants into the palm of the hand to create a bouquet.
  6. After the glue dries, write a note in the interior of the card and deliver to someone you love and appreciate!
